Jason Pham is an editor and writer based in New York City. He’s currently the Entertainment Director at STYLECASTER, where he’s profiled stars like Lana Condor, Mj Rodriguez, Jurnee Smollett, Awkwafina, Madelaine Petsch, Gemma Chan, Ariel Winter and Olivia Holt, and written essays about Asian Americans at the Olympics, men’s skin care products, K-pop and masculinity, Crazy Rich Asians, and racial bias on The Bachelor.
Jason’s work has also been featured in The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, Variety, Women’s Wear Daily, Bustle, Vox’s Racked and NBC Asian America, where he’s reported on stories like the effect of China’s one-child policy on international students and what it’s like to have cancer in college.
Jason graduated with a master’s of science in journalism from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism, where he wrote a 4,000-word master’s thesis on sexual harassment in the male modeling industry. He earned a bachelor’s of arts in English and communication from the University of California, Davis, where he started his journalism career as a reporter and then editor at the school’s newspaper, The California Aggie.
